Success for the Danish National Team at European Championships!

The STIGA sponsored Danish National Team were Silver Medallists in the Men's Team Event at the European Championships in Stuttgart, Germany. The entire team of Michael Maze, Finn Tugwell, Martin Monrad, Kasper Sternberg and Jonathan Groth had an excellent tournament. Through to the finals, Denmark cruised with strong wins over Czech Republic in the quarter final and Austria in the semi final. In the finals Denmark faced Germany for the second time in the tournament, having already played them in the group stage.
In the final against Germany, the Danish team battled to a 3-2 loss after two wins from the Danish star, Michael Maze.

Also the STIGA sponsored Czech National Team got a bronze medal in the Women’s Team Event. In the semi final the Czech team lost in a close game against Netherland who later on became champions.
