The 24 years old STIGA player, Yannick Vostes, became recently the Belgium Champion for the first time in his career. This happened in Louvain la Neuve and in the final he beated Lauric Jean in straight games after a very solid game already from ball no.1. Yannick has had a good progress in his game and during 2009 he made some great results and also made some climbing on the ITTF world ranking list.
The nearest goal now for Yannick is the World Team Championships that will be played in Moscow, Russia, at the end of May. Together with Jean-Michel Saive, Benjamin Rogers and Lauric Jean will they defeat the Belgium colours and try to advance to the highest division.
